His academic curriculum came from de Rudolf Steiner School in Sao Paulo where he graduated as Goldsmith, with intensive study of precious and semi-precious stones. He deepens his skills working as an apprentice for goldsmiths during four years.

He starts his own goldsmith studio developing the "cold forge" technique at achieves countless possibilities unknown before. He continues to teach himself and finds a new view for precious metals like Gold and Silver.

At his studio in Sao Paulo, he starts teaching his techniques with "Cold Forge" and "Integrated Insert", and is able to share his experience with over 50 apprentices during a period of then years.

Ricardo Pompilio participated in countless shows and and meetings. In 1997
he has his most important show: "Ornaments, Jewelry and Objects in Sao Paulo at the "Caribe Art Gallery". This was his step stone to be recognized as the creator and holder of his own techniques with new and wonderful results.

His quest takes him to Europe where he realizes how unique and special the "Cold Forge" technique is. In 2002 and 2005 he is invited to organize workshops in Germany where his work is recognized and admired.

Ricardo Pompilio lives in Cunha and continues to improve his technique, always searching for the natural beauty of the metals and the stones. He seeks recognition from his clients and the public who is amazed by the unique shapes and colors of his art.
